The Chris Voss Highly Commented Paper Award to Professors Katri Kauppi and Markku Kuula.
Logistics professors Katri Kauppi and Markku Kuula received on the 24th of June ”The Chris Voss Highly Commented Paper Award” on their paper titled ”Supply chain risk management and operational performance: the impact of country-level disruption risks”.
The study combined primary data from the International Manufacturing Strategy Survey and publicly available secondary data on country level risk profiles.
The research is joint work with Federico Caniato (Politechnico di Milano) and Annachiara Longoni (ESADE Business School, Barcelona). The award was announced at the annual conference of the European Operations Management Association held in Palermo. There were all together 402 research papers presented at the conference.
