Career perspective in studies

We encourage our students to succeed in their studies and also in their future careers. Our study programmes respond to the requirements of work. You can combine theory and practice in a number of different case study projects carried out with different companies. Many students acquire significant work experience already during their studies.

Students have the possibility to include an internship into both the bachelor’s and master’s degree. Doing an internship is not mandatory.

The Career Services will support you throughout your studies; we offer you guidance in career planning and job search and offer many possibilities to meet future employers face-to-face.

Aalto CareerWeb is students' own career portal where you can find e.g. job hunting and career planning guides, Job Channel job adverts (incl. internship ads and thesis assignments) and all Career Services events, and much more. You can find both domestic and international internship and job ads from the job portal.

In our trainings, recruitment and career events you will meet many interesting employers who are interested in hiring business students. In addition we offer personal guidance for career planning and job search. We enhance students' employment also by supporting and coordinating various internship programmes in Finland and abroad.

Career Prospects

The graduates from the School of Business are employed well and placed in the specialist and management positions related to their studies. Job titles include e.g. Analyst, Consultant, Project Manager, Controller, Sales Manager, Accountant, HR Specialist, Marketing Manager and CEO.
