Employer and recruitment events
In employer and recruiting events you get to meet with students and build attractiveness as a future employer.
You should consider meeting the students if you have an open position for students, a trainee program you are seeking applications for, or you wish to tell our students about your future recruitment needs.
As an employer you have the opportunity to meet Aalto Students for example
- in the lobby of the Aalto School of Business main building
- in an Employer Event at Aalto School of Business
- at your premises: invite the Students for a visit!
- at our CV & LinkedIn Clinic
In addition, you can meet the Students at our other events, such as ARENA Career Fair (for business students in Aalto and Hanken in November) or Summer Job Day! (organized for all Aalto students in January)

We gather feedback from every Employer Event from the students. Our Coordinator is happy to share the latest wishes and feedback with you when you are planning your event.
As there are various kinds of employers there are also a bunch of different ways to meet the students. This is why we always tailor our services to meet your individual needs. Below, you will find some examples of Employer Events.
Where to meet Aalto Students?
Meet the Students in the lobby of the Aalto School of Business main building (basic fee 700 €)
You will meet different kinds of students on their way to lectures, lunch, self-study halls, etc. We will promote your presence in our Event Calendar and handle all practical arrangements in the school for you.
In the lobby events you should have a carefully planned program / contents. Our students have indicated that the most attractive stands in the lobby offer
- practical advices on CVs and cover letters
- opportunity to practice interview skills in either role play or in real speed interviews
- real life employees (preferrably our school's alumni) giving insight on working in your company or the recruiting process
- coffee / tea
Meet the Students in an Employer Event at Aalto School of Business (basic fee 800 €)
The school's lecture halls and other rooms fit for various kinds of events: lectures, workshops, cocktails, dinners. Our Coordinator will help you plan your kind of event and handle all the practicalities, including the marketing (Event Calendar, targeted mailing, posters) to the target group of your choice.
Invite the Students to your premises
Would your premises be an interesting place to visit? Is it easier to paint the picture of the actual work and work environment where the action actually takes place? We help you in inviting the selected group of students and, if needed, we even take care of the enrollment process.

How to proceed: organizing and marketing the event
Arranging an Employer Event starts with choosing the time and the target group. To find the best possible time for your event we take into account your schedules, teaching terms in the Aalto School of Business and the Student Union's Event Calendar.
The Company Event package consists of different parts (e.g. rent for the premises, catering, invitations) from which you can choose. Above we have mentioned the basic fee of each package.
We advertise your Employer Event in our Event Calendar and bulletin boards. When needed, we take care of the enrollment as well.
Personal invitations to the students can be sent via email or mail. We will help you choose the target group. Read more about Targeted Mailing.
We will gather feedback from the students and send information concerning your actions to you shortly after the event.
When using any of our chargeable services you have an opportunity to send posters to be placed into our bulletin boards (restricted to 5 pieces and max. A3 size). In other cases we cannot accept posters.
VAT of 24 % will be added to all the prices. All rights for price changes reserved. In case the assignment is cancelled by the client, Career Services has a right to charge for the costs of the work already done.

CV & LinkedIn Clinics
Career Services at the Aalto University School of Business organizes CV & LinkedIn Clinics in the school's main building in Töölö in October, during the ARENA Career Fair in November and during the summer job hunting season in January/February in Otaniemi.
At the Clinics HR/Recruitment experts from different organizations comment the students' application documents (CVs & cover letters) and LinkedIn profiles. The aim of the discussion is to enhance the student's self-awareness. The sessions are very popular among our students.
We primarily invite Aalto University School of Business partner companies and other important partners to participate in the clinics.
Participating organizations get:
- a chance to help the student to tailor the application better and their LinkedIn profiles
- an excellent opportunity to build their employer image among the students
- continuous visibility at the campus
