Anniversary donations
To commemorate an anniversary
Congratulations on the occasions of birthdays or anniversaries can be directed to a special anniversary fund, the capital of which is distributed as grants. This is an excellent way to support an area of research or teaching at the Aalto University School of Business considered important by the recipient of the congratulations and thereby commemorate the event.
If so desired, funds collected for an anniversary or from some other donation can be converted into a permanent fund bearing the name of the donor. The annual yield from such funds is then distributed in the form of grants (see Designated funds).
