Designated funds
A permanent way to have an effect
A fund bearing the donor’s name is an excellent way to support research, teaching, and students at the Aalto University School of Business. Companies and other organizations or private individuals can establish a permanent fund bearing their name. The yield from the donation is then distributed in the form of grants. When the fund is being established, the donor together with the HSE Foundation specify the grounds for making grants to the fields of research and teaching at the School of Business chosen by the donor.
Examples of funds bearing the donor’s name
The Salmi Virkkunen & Helenius Oy fund was established in 1987. Its purpose is to develop and encourage research, teaching, and the study of auditing, bookkeeping and financial statement practices at the Aalto University School of Business.
